The B.L.A.C.K. Course is facilitating a foundational professional lactation training course for aspiring Black IBCLCs and folks who support Black families. This course provides students with lactation specific educational hours that qualify towards the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBLCE) 95 hours requirements.
Taught by 4 Black IBCLCs from the West, South, and East coasts who bring a broad range of professional experience.
We will meet virtually over 3 days for each cohort for a total of 18 hours. The remaining hours will be completed at the students own pace by a designated due date. Each cohort will provide students with 45 lactation specific educational hours; which qualifies for the IBLCE requirements.. Class will not be held on Saturday and Sunday.

The B.L.A.C.K Course will be facilitating our 24 Hours Peer Counselor Support Training for aspiring Black lactation professionals and Non-Black Allies supporting Black Communities. The training will be taught virtually. Register today to learn how to support families in your community.
Credential: Certified Blactavist Peer Counselor
We will meet virtually over 3 days. The class will provide students with entry level lactation specific education that focuses on latch and position, counseling, facilitating support groups, and more. This class is targeted to those who want to enter the lactation support field in a peer capacity, want to add to their current PC certification/training, are currently or have breastfed/lactated and want to support families in their community, and those who want to expand their current knowledge about supporting families.
