The B.L.A.C.K Course is facilitating our 45 Hour Lactation Course for Alameda County (California) residents and/or individuals providing services to Alameda County children, ages 0-5 and their families. We are teaching two (2) cohorts; March 1-7 and June 21-27.
Both cohorts for Alameda County residents or supporters have been sponsored by First 5 Alameda County.
*Please note: All attendees will be required to provide proof of address or working location.
We will meet virtually over 5 days for each cohort. Each cohort will provide you with 45 lactation specific hours. Class will not be held on Saturday and Sunday.

Register today to obtain 45 lactation specific educational hours that qualify towards the IBLCE required 95 hours.

The B.L.A.C.K Course will be facilitating our 24 Hours Peer Counselor Support Training for aspiring Black lactation professionals and Non-Black Allies supporting Black Communities. The training will be taught virtually. Register today to learn how to support families in your community.
We will meet virtually over 3 days. The class will provide students with entry level lactation specific education that focuses on latch and position, counseling, facilitating support groups, and more. This class is targeted to those who want to enter the lactation support field in a peer capacity, want to add to their current PC certification/training, are currently or have breastfed/lactated and want to support families in their community, and those who want to expand their current knowledge about supporting families.
